Imagine Media's 2nd Double Tap The Keg Event: Beer + Brands + Mixed Reality

Mark your calendars! Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 5:30-7:30 PM Imagine Media will be hosting their 2nd event in their Double Tap the Keg event series. Brands, mixed reality, and, of course, beer will all be topics discussed. (A huge shout out to Devil's Backbone Brewing Company for sponsoring and providing the beer for the event.) Guest speakers Elizabeth Strickler and Jamie Clarke will be joining us to share some of their marketing knowledge and to dive deeper into the worlds of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). 

Elizabeth is the DAEL Associate Director at Georgia State University here in Atlanta. Through industry and university partnerships, she creates, tests, and markets digital media content funded by grants and contracts. In her teachings, she emphasizes new media entrepreneurship, which blends her knowledge of the media industry with design, creativity, and technology. Her work has received international awards and her most recent film is currently featured on PBS's POV 2013 series. 

Jamie Clarke, a former pro soccer player from England, is the Head of DV (Data Visualisation) Partnerships for Skignz, a Geo-Location based Augmented Reality platform. In simpler terms, Skignz are digital signs in the sky, great for finding friends or locations and useful to both individuals and businesses. His past experience in delivering and implementing high-quality services and products to those who need them has helped him integrate and excel in Skignz's culture.
