Infographic: Social Platforms Are Getting Older, And So Are Their Users

It's too obvious to point out that since Facebook's launch 12 years ago and all of other social platforms that followed, has completely changed the way the world exchanges information. However, the interesting thing us marketers are looking at, is the way social media is slowly becoming comparable to other media and how audiences are growing more to resemble the general population. The notion 'If my parents are there, it's no longer cool,' is extremely important when it comes to reaching younger audiences and for each platform to maintain their edge. On the other hand, as younger markets abandon the use of some platforms, it leaves us with older audiences and higher incomes.
