What Happens When Nicely Built, Shopify and Mailchimp Unite?

Last week, two of us had the pleasure of joining one of our amazing clients, Nicely Built, at a Shopify Meetup in conjunction with Mailchimp. Natasha Murphy, owner and founder of Nicely Built was given the exciting honor of hosting the event featuring other thought leaders in the e-commerce community of Atlanta. This curated event was not only a great chance to meet other professionals in the area, but it was exciting to see our friend and client do big things for her own web design company. #ClientCrush

First of all, Mailchimp has the coolest office. The Imagineers had some serious office envy when we arrived. Second, the speakers were stellar. After sipping on local craft beer and mingling with new and old friends we took a seat in the stadium seating style meeting room (how cool?!). We were able to hear from Mailchimp’s Chris Beauregard about Automation and how the new Mailchimp feature can help both merchants and customers interact on a higher, more personalized level. Personalization seemed to be a major theme of the evening. As we went into the panel discussion, moderated by Katie Hudson from Shopify, Atlanta-based online merchants went into how they use the platforms for their specific needs.
