1. THE LIFESTYLE FLAT LAY

The lifestyle flat lay incorporates elements of your day to day life. You can include anything from the book you're currently reading to your signature coffee order. The lifestyle flat lay is a great way for your audience to get to know you on a more personal level and feel as though they have a glimpse into your day-to-day life.

2. THE CREATIVE FLAT LAY

Flex your creative muscles with an out of the box flat lay. We love the idea of spelling out a message to your audience - whether literally or metaphorically! This is especially great for those who love to collage and really jump headfirst into creative projects.

3. THE MINIMALIST FLAT LAY

For those who prefer a more simplistic approach, the minimalist flat lay only incorporates 3-4 items, and typically is taken against a white background. These flat lays are best for posts that want to specifically feature something - whether it be a product, current read, or magazine feature.

4. THE ORGANIC FLAT LAY

Organic flat lays often incorporate natural elements such as plants and fruit. These flat lays are best when displaying beauty items or lighter-colored products. You'll get the ultimate clean and natural feel.

5. THE GRID

The most common flat lays use the grid format. All items appear in a square format when framing the photo and the lines are straight and balanced. The grid often takes the most practice, but has super fun results.
