Accessorizing for Headbands of Hope is a cause that you cannot beat because for each headband sold, a headband is given to a child with cancer. What makes the donation even more special is that Headbands of Hope donates the headbands to children at the buyer’s local children’s hospital. For example, if a boutique in Atlanta places an order for 50 headbands, 50 headbands will be given to Atlanta Children’s Hospital. Although Headbands of Hope has been featured on the Today Show and in magazines, such as Vanity Fair, Teen Vogue, People Magazine, and Seventeen, this is not their biggest accomplishment. Headbands of Hope prides itself most in that it has donated headbands to every children’s hospital in America!
So, you can imagine that when Jess Ekstrom, founder of Headbands of Hope, reached out to the Imagine Media team to see if we were willing to help her at the event we were super excited. In addition to having a booth on the third level, Headbands of Hope was given the opportunity to host a braid bar on Friday and Saturday on the second level of the market. Buyers could select a headband before having their hair expertly braided by professional hairstylists, courtesy of GlowDry and Headbands of Hope. While Jess covered the booth, where buyers could look at styles and place orders, I covered the braid bar. This gave me the opportunity to talk to curious buyers about Headbands of Hope and connect with buyers who already carry Headbands of Hope in their stores. I got to meet people from all across the United States, all while gaining an even deeper appreciation for Jess and her company.
If there were ever a reason to accessorize, this is it! Head over to the Headbands of Hope website to check out styles and pricing, and support this amazing cause.
