Now, it can be done from the app itself. You can find this amazing new feature in settings under “On-Demand Geofilters”. You can select from a list of pre-set filters or customize different templates and set the date and time you want the filter to be live. You then submit the design for approval through the snapchat app. With this new geofilter feature, it is even easier for businesses to experience the benefits of using geofilters for marketing purposes. So, what are some of these benefits?

1.     Building brand recognition. If one person uses a geofilter with your brand, let’s say 200 of their friends may see it. Now can you imagine how many different people will your brand name if 1000 post a story with that geofilter? It’s a lot.
