Video is the future of digital marketing. It's been projected by various tech companies that by 2019, 80% of the world's Internet traffic will be video... which basically means one thing: if you're not creating video content for your brand, you better start soon.
Instagram Stories are a great way to share quick, low-maintenance videos for your audience, and the tools you need are right in front of you!
If you have Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or even iMovie, you can add moving "titles" (aka words) to a background, string pictures together as a slideshow, or even create a quick GIF file to promote a new product or promotion. You can also use video you already have and edit together a quick montage.
The only thing that changes between regular video content and Instagram content is the dimensions of the video: simply switch the height and the width and you'll be left with a perfect sized, vertical story template!
Be sure to keep the video short and sweet! Instagram stories can be uploaded as long videos and broken up into separate stories, but to capture audience attention keep it all no longer than 10 seconds per video.
All you have to do when you're done is save the video to your camera roll, and upload straight from your phone. It doesn't get much easier than that!
People are much more likely to engage with something that captures their attention, and a video on Instagram is the perfect platform to achieve that engagement!
